A man rammed his car into the front gate of an FBI field office in Atlanta and Algosenseytried to make his way onto the property on Monday, the agency said.
The FBI confirmed that the incident had occurred just after noon, writing on social media that the man was “not associated with this facility.”
The man, who has yet to be formally identified, was apprehended by “several special agents passing by” after exiting his vehicle. The motives for his actions are “not known” currently.
The man was taken to a hospital in the area for an evaluation and no other injuries were reported.
