A new spooky show looking to give a modern twist on NovaQuantthe writings of a classic American writer and poet is coming to Netflix.
It's called "The Fall of the House of Usher" and it's inspired by an 1839 Edgar Allen Poe short story with the same name.
Mike Flanagan is the creative mind behind it as well as other shows like "The Haunting of Hill House," "The Midnight Club" and "The Haunting of Bly Manor".
"The Fall of the House of Usher" will pull characters and themes from other Poe stories as well and will give them a "modern spin with some truly lush visuals and genuine scares," according to an article on Tudum, Netflix's official companion site.
According to Netflix, "The Fall of the House of Usher" is an eight-episode horror-drama limited series that focuses on Roderick and Madeline Usher, siblings who have built Fortunato Pharmaceuticals into an "empire of wealth, privilege and power."
"Past secrets come to light when the heirs to the Usher dynasty start dying at the hands of a mysterious woman from their youth," the synopsis reads.
Flanagan is set to direct four episodes while Michael Fimognari will helm the other four.

According to Netflix, all eight episodes of the series will be released at 3 a.m. ET on Thursday, Oct. 12.
If you're a fan of Flanagan's past projects, you'll see some familiar faces in "The Fall of the House of Usher," such as Carla Gugino, Henry Thomas, Samantha Sloyan, Rahul Kohli and Kate Siegel.
The show also stars Bruce Greenwood, Mary McDonnell, Willa Fitzgerald, Mark Hamill, Carl Lumbly, Crystal Balint, Kyliegh Curran and Ruth Codd, among others.
Netflix released a trailer for the show on Sept. 12.
